WHO WE ARE
One Body Village Canada is a registered charity that provides shelter, education, medical care, psychological counseling, and vocational training to child survivors of sexual abuse and exploitation in Southeast Asia since 2012. We were inspired by, and work in partnership with, the founding charity called One Body Village Inc. that has been protecting children since 1999.
VISION
We envision a world where every child is free from all forms of violence, abuse, and exploitation.
MISSION
Our mission is to a) improve the lives of children affected by, or are at high-risk of, sexual abuse and exploitation and
b) combat child sexual exploitation by educating and empowering communities to be catalysts for change.
VALUES
We are committed to honour the value and dignity of all children, their families, and their communities. We are also committed to honesty, transparency, and good stewardship of our donors' financial contributions.

WHY WE EXIST
We exist because in developing countries like Vietnam and Cambodia, the resources are limited and widespread poverty, low education, cultural attitudes, lack of protective measures, and pervasive corruption perpetuate the cycle of child sexual abuse and exploitation. Without organizations like ours, children in these regions would never be found and receive the support they need to rebuild their lives.
WHERE WE WORK
Our programs and services are offered free of charge to children and their families in Vietnam, Cambodia, and other undisclosed regions in Southeast Asia.
OUR IMPACT
In 2023, we fundraised over $117,000 CAD to support child survivors of sexual abuse and exploitation. We also hosted six successful child protection and anti-trafficking workshops in Southeast Asia with 1300 attendees to educate families, social service workers, and other stakeholders about safeguarding children.
